Futian District, Shenzhen
Huaqiangbei Electronics Market Area
Huaqiangbei is a cluster of dozens of separate electronics malls, not a single building: a 1.45 km2 core commercial district along Huaqiangbei Road and its side streets in Futian District, anchored by SEG Plaza, Huaqiang Electronics World, Mingtong Digital City and similar towers. The Futian District government counts 35 professional markets here, covering components, phone parts, security equipment, LED and finished devices. Different buildings specialise in different categories, so buyers plan several stops within one walkable visit rather than a single hall.
What buyers should know
The government describes a 'one-kilometre electronics supply chain': chip design, component sourcing, prototyping, assembly and display trading all sit within walking distance, so a buyer can move from quotation to sample to factory referral inside the district.
Trading happens at thousands of 'one-metre counter' stalls, metre-wide counters selling everything from components to assembled computers and phones, so bring a component list and work counter by counter.
Logistics is built in: SF Express, JD and hundreds of smaller stations operate here, with more than 1.5 million parcels trucked out daily (2025 figures), so orders can be consolidated without leaving the district.
With daily footfall of 750,000 in the first half of 2025 (up over 50% year on year) and 7,000+ foreign visitors a day, export-facing counters are used to overseas buyers; go early on a weekday if you want counter time.
