Pinghu, Longgang District, Shenzhen
Huanan (South China) Industrial Materials City
Huanan City is a comprehensive trade-and-logistics park in Pinghu, Longgang District, not a single retail mall. Phase 1 groups industrial raw materials and auxiliaries, leather, hardware and chemicals, printing and packaging, and some electronics; Phase 2 comprises Plazas 1-5, including No. 1 Plaza, described on the official page as Shenzhen's largest single building, and the No. 5 Walijia electronics trading plaza. The halls are large and far apart, so plan an itinerary hall by hall rather than treating it as one stop.
What buyers should know
Status warning: a January 2026 on-site report found floors 4-5 largely vacant and few weekday customers, confirm the specific hall, floor and opening hours with suppliers before travelling.
The park covers 12 trade categories including textiles, electronics, hardware and home goods; it is built for bulk raw-material purchasing, not retail-style browsing.
No. 1 Plaza was described in 2018 as Shenzhen's largest single building, and Phase 1 concentrates the raw-material, leather, hardware-chemical and packaging zones in one area.
Crowds now concentrate on weekends and holidays, with weekdays thin; time a visit accordingly and verify which halls still trade before going.
